Strategic Priority

The objectives for the year were determined following the approval of a 4 year strategic plan in 2007.   The principal objective for the year was to initiate a new grant making scheme for people affected by mental health.  This strategic priority was considered by Trustees to be a key factor in and contributing to poverty leading to the need for support from the voluntary sector. The Charity looks to achieve its strategic aims and carry out its operational objectives of the year in close partnership with voluntary sector organisations in Richmond .  Before launching new programmes the RPLC holds forums at which representatives from local organisations are able to identify key developments and needs in the sector which can in turn be used for giving Trustees guidance in making their grant making decisions.
