Social Inclusion Awards
Social inclusion is about creating an inclusive social process of living which will include supporting the integration of people with health problems for example. It involves reaching out to excluded children and their families. The focus is on the most disadvantaged; people with multiple, complex and interrelated problems. For a large percentage of families currently dependent on benefits and lacking work, social inclusion initiatives will work to reduce inter-generational cycles of disadvantage tackle social inequalities and reduce poverty
